AfricaThe "Faith Like Potatoes" preacher says "his farm was once saved from a raging bushfire by his family's fervent prayers for rain; he has seen a farm worker raised from the dead after she was struck by lightning and God has come through for him with a miracle crop of potatoes in the face of the severest drought."

(South Africa)—Angus Buchan is a radical nation-builder who is being used by God to transform South Africa and impact lives across the globe. In April, GOD TV televised his 'Mighty Men' conference attended by 200,000 men, and he returns to GOD TV screens this weekend to boldly challenge the network's nearly half a billion viewers to see their nations transformed.

Angus fills capacity stadiums wherever he goes, and a huge crowd is expected this Saturday in the town of Worcester in South Africa's Western Cape Region. "Worcester for Jesus" can be watched LIVE on GOD TV at 10.30am (EST) on Saturday November 21st, with a replay on Monday November 23 at 12.30pm. (Photo: Shalom Ministries)

Angus is a farmer turned evangelist who has a unique ability to exhort people to trust God for the impossible, drawing on his personal experience of the miraculous. The author of the book, 'Faith Like Potatoes' (and whose life story is told in the film by the same name) he has seen God intervene in many different situations.

His farm was once saved from a raging bushfire by his family's fervent prayers for rain; he has seen a farm worker raised from the dead after she was struck by lightning and God has come through for him with a miracle crop of potatoes in the face of the severest drought.

Today he is devoted to nation building, encouraging people to fulfill their destinies, foster closer family relationships and build stronger communities. Angus also wants to see men become better husbands and fathers, and his "Mighty Men 2009" conference was one of the biggest men's events ever, as men from all over South Africa responded in unprecedented numbers.

"When I pick up a potato it reminds me of a plain, simple, real faith that will sustain us in our every day lives," he says. "When we have faith and act on it, God comes through for us."
